Aim: To separate colors by using the process of chromatography
Definition: chromatography is a method of separating out materials from a mixture using a liquid
Materials :
1. boiling tube
2 . color marker
3.water
4. fitter paper
5. scissors
6.ruler
7. pencil
8. test tuber stand
Process:
step 1 : get your materials
step 2 : cut up the fitter paper into strip ready to write
step 3: rule the line 1 cm from the bottom of the paper strip
step 3 : put 8LCM of water into the bottom of the boiling tube
step 4: draw two colored pen dots on the pencil line
step 5: drop the strip of paper into the boiling tube and once it is touching the water at the bottom you can crease the top of the paper.
step 6 : watch , take 2 photo and obverse the chromatography process on your paper
